Representing New Brunswick, Aaliyah captivated the judges with her innovative approach to sustainable hair care, showcasing both creativity and passion. Her hard work and dedication have truly set her apart, and we are so excited and proud to see Gaamai Hair continue to thrive and inspire others in the entrepreneurial world.
We also want to congratulate Shacharouna Gordon, founder of Boonoonoonoos, for her incredible pitch highlighting Jamaican culture through vibrant cuisine. Well done to both winners on this amazing achievement!
Tribe Offers $5,000 Consulting Advisory Services Grant
Tribe’s grant aims to strengthen Black-owned businesses in Atlantic Canada by providing access to expert guidance designed to foster growth, expand customer bases, and support scaling efforts, the organization announced.
Black entrepreneurs and businesses that qualify can receive specialized consulting assistance for specific initiatives. Tribe Network will cover consulting fees of up to $5,000 per project, with payments made directly to the consultant once a clear project plan and signed agreement are in place. Venn & 2024 Fill the Bus Campaign
Venn is proud to participate in the 2024 Fill the Bus Campaign— a community initiative supporting School Breakfast Programs and local food banks within the Anglophone East School District. This campaign, running from November 25th to December 31st, ensures students have access to nutritious meals and families receive the support they need. We’re excited to contribute by hosting a food drive and encouraging our network to join us in making a meaningful impact! From the moment you read this until Dec. 18th, drop by our location at the Junction (770 St. George Blvd) and drop off some nonperishable food items! All items will be going directly to the Anglophone East School District who will pass on donations to local food banks. Let’s support our community together!
